The project aims to promote musical culture by encouraging young people to study the literature for Wind Orchestra, according to new demands and trends.
The project also aims to publicize the image of original music for Wind Orchestra in the social and cultural context of the surrounding area, through a complete musical path that aims to deepen musical and musicological skills.
The project is aimed at updating knowledge, specifically, artistic-musical. The activities of the meetings will be aimed at increasing the musicians’ ability to relate with their musical instrument and with the activity of the Wind Orchestra. The thematic nuclei are: collective lessons of instrument, collective lessons for sections, collective lessons in Orchestra, rehearsals open to the public, concerts.
Contributing to the improvement of artists and cultural operators, making them aware of a particular form of musical manifestation such as the Wind Orchestra, which by its natural affinity with the “band” preserves the impact on the listener intact.
Study of chorales, instrumented for variable training, to solve intonation, attack and phrasing problems. Book in use: 66 Famous Chorales arranged by F. Erickson.

He graduated in Clarinet with full marks under the guidance of Prof. G. Di Carlo, later perfecting his skills with famous teachers such as K. Leister, V. Mariozzi and C. Scarponi. From 1990 to 2003 he played permanently with the “Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese” collaborating with prestigious musicians and for the most important Italian Musical Institutions; with this prestigious Orchestra he has performed concerts abroad (France 1996 with A. Bernard, Spain 1997, Andorra 2000 with the famous singer B. Hendricks under the baton of F. Yepes, France 2001 with P. Amoyal), in Italy (Milano sala Verdi for the “Serate Musicali” years 1999, 2000 and 2001, Rome Easter festival, concert seasons in Foggia, Pompeii, Naples, Perugia, Brescia, etc.). ), recordings for RAI (Roma Teatro Sistina with M. Freccia, contemporary music festival of the Aquarium, Caracciolo prize, etc.), recordings of compact-disc (BGM, EDIPAM, ARTS) and collaborations with soloists such as B. Petrushansky, M. Conti, V. In November 2009 he was invited as guest conductor to conduct a series of concerts for the “Banda Simfonica del Centre Artistic Musical de Moncada” – Valencia (Spain); in program music by Spanish composers and the first Spanish performance of Un amore a distanza… focal produced by the Musical Association “Accademia”.
Since 2018 he is a member of the USA WIND BAND, an American association created to invite European musicians, with whom he shares an intense musical programming and is regularly invited to conduct at the Universities of Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, etc.. In 2019 he was invited as guest conductor for the Wind Band of the Carrol University of Chicago and for the Wind Orchestra of the Conservatory of Moncada, Valencia-Spain.
He founded and conducts the Wind Orchestra “U. Giordano” of the Conservatory of Music of Rhodes Garganico section detached from Foggia, with which, in addition to numerous concerts, he has addressed much of the panorama of original compositions and numerous first performances dedicated to the Orchestra.
Artistic Director of the Associazione Culturale Musicale ACCADEMIA 2008, he founded and conducts the Italian Wind Orchestra “ACCADEMIA”, and is permanent director of the sax ensemble “SAXOFONIA” with which, in addition to an intense concert activity, he recorded the CD Polvere di Stelle, which received unanimous acclaim from the public and critics.
He is guest conductor and first clarinet of the Wind Orchestra ARMELIS of Collarmele (AQ), which, in addition to its numerous concert activities, annually hosts guest conductors of the calibre of F. Creux, L. Pusceddu, Thomas Fraschillo and David Waybright.
He was called as a jury member of the competition of Bands of the province of Teramo years 2007/2008 and the International Festival of Musical Bands of Giulianova (TE) years 2010/2011.
In July 2009 he was a member of the commission of the “1st International Wind Conducting Competition “P. Giannetti” in Abbadia San Salvatore (SI) with J. Pascual Vilaplana, L. Della Fonte, M. Billi, D. Bostok.
Coordinator of the RODI JAZZ FEST (see website www.conservatoriofoggia.it), where in addition to conducting the Festival Orchestra he has collaborated with jazz musicians such as Fabrizio Bosso, Maurizio Giammarco, Bruno Tommaso, Jamal Ouassini, etc..
Since 2003 he has been teacher and first clarinet of the “Giovanile Orchestra di Fiati” of Ripatransone (AP), made up of instrumentalists coming from Italy and abroad, Director Lorenzo della Fonte, with whom he has deepened the vast original repertoire for Wind instruments, performing and recording numerous first performances.
In 2009 he began an artistic collaboration as conductor, with Mediaset/Medusa R.T.I. and RAI for the recording of Film and Fiction soundtracks. Winner of the competitions for the roles in the Conservatories of Music for the subjects “Chamber Music” and “Musica d’Insieme per Fiati” currently teaches “Musica d’Insieme per Fiati” at the Conservatory of Music “U. Giordano” of Rodi Garganico, detached section of Foggia.
In 2006 he graduated with full marks in Musical Disciplines at the Musical Institute “G. Braga” of Teramo.
Born in L’Aquila after completing classical and master’s studies, she graduated brilliantly at the Conservatory of Music “L. D’Annunzio” in Pescara. She had numerous presentations in public as a soloist and in chamber groups in the programs of important cultural institutions and events: Società Aquilana dei Concerti “B. Barattelli”, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Teatro Rendano di Cosenza, I Solisti Aquilani, Festival di Mezza Estate… playing alongside prestigious names such as M° S. Verzari, M° M. Maur, M° G. Gatti, Evghenj Evtushenko, M. Meghnagi, C. Jacomucci. She collaborated with various orchestral and chamber ensembles. She took part in various live television and radio broadcasts on RAI Italian Radio and Television. She was participated, as 1st flute, in the recording of first performances of pieces by internationally renowned composers such as: F. Mannino, L. Ferrero, L. Rendine, M.Betta… in addition to numerous other recordings. She is the author of the book Cuorcontento Tau Editrice, in which she deals with the theme of obsessive compulsive disorder, published in 2016 and presented to the public by the illustrious names of Prof. F. Sabatini, Prof. P. Barone, Prof. M. Casacchia, Dott.ssa A. E. Marimpietri, Prof.ssa V. Filoni, Prof.ssaS. Gianni, M° G. Piermarini, Archbishop Emeritus Don Giuseppe Molinari… She obtained the certificate of I level TECHNICAL ORFF-SCHULWERK with Prof. G.Piazza. In 2011 he obtained a specialization diploma in Music Therapy with honors cum laude at the “Conservatorio A. Casella” and “University of Medicine and Surgery” of L’Aquila, developing a thesis entitled “The effect of Music on psychopathology and subjective experience in people with DOC” (Rel. Prof. M. Casacchia). He actively participated, as a musical expert, in the selection of the 44th Zecchino D’oro. She has been the editor for many years of the concert hall notes of the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese in collaboration with the Istituto Nazionale Tostiano of Ortona. She conducted an informative seminar on “The effects of music” at the Liceo Scienze Umane L’Aquila. She is the author of numerous theses and elaborated alongside speakers of acclaimed cultural depth concerning the decisive role of music in psychopathologies and psychiatric disorders. Among which we mention: Music Therapy and Drug Addiction in the Psychology of Music (Rel. Prof. A. M. Ferrone); The Flute is no longer magic (Rel. Prof. G. Bafile). He has conducted numerous music workshops with disabled people, creating public performances and availing himself of the collaboration of prestigious names, the most recent with Simona Molinari at the Renzo Piano Auditorium in L’Aquila. She has conducted as speaker/coordinator numerous training/updating courses on music teaching for teachers of kindergarten and primary school at Agenzia Promozione Culturale Regione Abruzzo, Direzione Didattica di Sulmona e di Barrea. She has been invited to report in numerous conferences on the important contribution of music in the educational and social path of the individual alongside leading names in the psychiatric, didactic, socio-pedagogical and musical world such as: dear Maestro Vittorio Antonellini, Prof. Antonio P. M., Prof. Giuseppe P.. ssa A. Zenga, Prof. E. Sechi, Prof. W. Tortoreto, Prof. G. Zucchini, Dr. P. Giancola, the masters S. Prodigo (then Director of the Conservatory Casella), B. Carioti, M. Zuccarini … She has been speaker at six conferences organized by the Center for Musical Studies “N. Carloni”, whose proceedings have been published. She attended the two-year course of Style Interpretation and Executive Practice of Argentine Tango with M° G. Iorio at the Conservatory of Music “L. D’Annunzio” of Pescara. She holds the chair of Flute Transverse Flute-Execution and Interpretation at the Liceo Musicale of L’Aquila, where he also teaches Laboratorio Musica Insieme Fiati. She teaches Guided Listening in the two-year specialization of Music Therapy at the State Conservatory of Music “A. Casella” in L’Aquila.
He completed his musical studies at the Conservatory “A. Casella” in L’Aquila under the guidance of Maestro A. Milone, graduating with honors.
He later perfected his studies with M° Fabrizio Meloni at the “A. Rolla” Academy of Pavia and with M° Wofgang Meyer at the “Accademia Musicale Pescarese”.
He has performed for the Società dei Concerti “B. Barattelli” of L’Aquila, I Solisti Aquilani, the Festival delle Nazioni Roma, the Teatro Stabile of L’Aquila, and in prestigious halls such as: Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Lingotto in Turin, Auditorium National in Madrid.
He has recorded first performances of Ferrero, Betta, Rendine, Mannino and numerous fiction soundtracks for Mediaset and RAI.
Winner of several auditions he has collaborated with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma e del Lazio, with the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto and with the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.
Since 2001 he has worked permanently with the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese with which he has toured Italy, Slovenia, France, Spain and recorded for RAI and Naxos pieces by Respighi and Castelnuovo Tedesco.
He has worked with conductors and soloists such as: Nordio, Quarta, Campanella, Meloni, Ughi, Accardo, Domingo, Marasco, Grubert, Kavakos, Clerici, Lu Jia, Geringas, Dinur, Muti, Pogorelich, Bocelli, Carbonare, Pretto, Allegrini, Formisano.
In 2007 he performed as a soloist with the Abruzzo Symphony Orchestra performing Krommer’s double concert for the IUC (Rome), the Luigi Barbara (Pescara), Philharmonic Society of the Theatre of Ascoli Piceno.
In 2013 he recorded for the magazine Amadeus concerts and symphonies by Mercadante under the direction of Fabrizio Meloni.
The orchestral activity was accompanied by an intense chamber and didactic activity.
In 2003 he performed with the wind instruments of La Scala in the Concerts of the Settimana Mozartiana di Chieti.
In 2005 he collaborated with the “musician” Luigi Maio for the realization of the Histoire du soldat by Stravinskj and Pierino e il lupo by Prokofiev.
He has collaborated with the Tosti Ensemble with whom he has performed in prestigious halls in Italy and abroad (Shimin Hall Tokyo).
He holds the chair of clarinet at the Liceo Musicale dell’Aquila.
The saxophonist Raffaele Manuel Padula, born in 1993, graduated brilliantly in 2012 under the guidance of Maestro Gabriele Buschi at the Rodi Garganico headquarters of the U. Giordano Conservatory in Foggia. In 2014 he completed the two-year specialization in saxophone at the same institution and graduated with honors. In 2017 he completed the two-year specialist course in chamber music under the guidance of maestro Guido Felizzi at the Conservatorio G.B.Martini in Bologna with honors. During his studies at the Conservatory of Bologna he perfected the technique and the study of the classical saxophone repertoire with Maestro Daniele Faziani. In 2020 he completed the Master in Music Performance under the guidance of Maestro Hans de Jong at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. Manuel Padula has participated in numerous Masterclasses with international artists and has studied privately with Maestro Marco Gerboni and Massimo Mazzoni. He has won numerous victories and absolute prizes in International and National Competitions including the Alberghini Prize and was the absolute winner of the second and third edition in the categories Chamber Music and Wind soloists. There are numerous concerts held with various musical ensembles in many Italian cities.
On December 17, 2016 he performed as a soloist at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna with the Orchestra of the Conservatory G.B. Martini conducted by Maestro Caprioli. He collaborates with the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and the Filarmonica di Bologna, as a saxophonist, for the production of plays. Since 2018 he is the first saxophonist of the Royal Antwerpen Wind Orchestral and the Royal Antwerpern Sinfony Orchestre of the prestigious Conservatory of Antwerp (Belgium) conducted by Dirk De Caluwé and Michiel Delanghe. In 2018 he founded the European Saxophone Quartet, a chamber music ensemble of great artistic depth made up of four saxophonists from different countries: Spain, Italy and Hungary. He has to his credit numerous concerts performed in important Italian and European theatres. Since 2019 he is an artist CannonBall Musical Instrument and JLV Ligature France.
Born in L’Aquila on April 19th 1985, he graduated in Trombone at the Conservatory of Music “A. Casella” in L’Aquila and in Trumpet at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “A.Peri” in Reggio Emilia. He is called to collaborate permanently with the Symphonic Orchestra of the Conservatorio Casella performing in concerts throughout Italy and, with “the Symphonic Orchestra of the University of Chieti-Pescara”, he performs in concerts in Italy and France. His collaboration with “I Solisti di Accademia” with whom he also performed before the then President of the European Parliament Hon. Antonio Tajani.
He has played with the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo, the Orchestra Giovanile Abruzzese, the Orchestra del Conservatorio di Alessandria, the Orchestra Sinfonica del Conservatorio di Reggio Emilia, the Orchestra da Camera delle Marche, the Filarmonica Leopolda of Florence, the Orchestra of the University of L’Aquila, the Musici Rovetani, the Wind Orchestra of the Conservatories of Music of Teramo and Rodi Garganico (FG) and many others, performing in concerts in Italy and abroad.
He has been called to represent the Conservatory of L’Aquila in chamber music concerts in prestigious national festivals such as: Pietre che Cantano and L’Ora della Musica, performing Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du Soldat. On Rai Uno he participates in the television program “Domeinca In”.
He teaches Trombone at the Liceo Musicale of L’Aquila and Parma and currently holds the chair of Trumpet at the Secondary School “Mazzini-Patini” of L’Aquila.
Si diploma in corno nel 2005 con il massimo dei voti, presso il Conservatorio U. Giordano di Foggia, sotto la guida del M° A. Falcone.
Inizia presto a frequentare corsi di specializzazione di Musica da Camera e di Formazione Orchestrale conseguendo la qualifica di “Professore d’Orchestra” presso il Teatro Lirico Sperimentale A. Belli di Spoleto, successivamente la qualifica in “Alta Formazione Musicale, specializzazione in Professore d’Orchestra” presso il consorzio ForCoop di Pescara in collaborazione con L’Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese e l’Accademia Musicale Pescarese.
Nel 2008 si specializza presso Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia di Roma seguendo il “Corso integrato per Ottoni in Orchestra”, sotto la guida dai maestri Andrea Conti e Andrea Lucchi.
Ha continuato lo studio della tecnica cornistica principalmente con Luca Benucci, ed in corsi con altri solisti di fama internazionale come Luciano Giuliani, Dale Clevenger, Berry Tackwell.
Ha suonato come Primo Corno ed Assistente al Primo Corno in orchestre nazionali ed internazionali come la Rossini di Pesaro, Orchestra Sinfonica La Verdi di Milano, l’Orchestra del Teatro Marruccino di Chieti, la Italian Philharmonic Orchestra con cui ogni anno svolge tournèe in Cina, inoltre ha collaborato come Terzo Corno con l’Orchestra del Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari e con l’ Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese con sede a l’Aquila.
Nel 2018 ha collaborato come primo corno con l’Orchestra di Roma per un’importante tournèe nelle maggiori sale da concerto del Giappone.
Si è esibito in qualità di solista eseguendo il Concerto per corno e orchestra n°2 in Mib K417 di Mozart e il Concerto per corno e orchestra n°3 in Mib K447 dello stesso autore.
Per trasmissioni televisive in diretta Rai1, si esibisce con la pop-orchestra pugliese Suoni del sud.
Ha inciso, per l’etichetta discografica Bongiovanni di Bologna, il disco Mercadante ritrovato, eseguendo il duetto per corno e soprano nell’opera inedita Messa a grande orchestra per quattro voci di Mercadante e, per la casa discografica Dynamic, il disco La Daunia Felice di Paisiello, suonando il corno naturale con l’Orchestra Collegium music diretta da Federico Guglielmo.
In ambito cameristico ha collaborato con numerosi ensemble, tra i quali “I solisti dauni”, l’Ottetto di fiati European wind soloist, Trio e Quartetto di corni, svolgendo attività concertistica in Italia, Germania, Austria e Algeria. Ha tenuto un concerto con l’Ensemble di Ottoni della IPO “Italian Philharmonic Orchestra” presso Istitute of Scienze and Tecnologiy di Pechino (Cina).
È arrangiatore ufficiale del Festival Internazionale ITALIAN BRASS WEEK che vanta ottoni di fama internazionale, quali Joseph Alessi, Yigal Meltzer, Øystein Baadsvik, Roger Bobo, Steven Mead, Hermann Baumann, Dale Clevenger, Stefan de Leval Jeziersky, Sarah Willis.
I suoi arrangiamenti per gruppi di Ottoni sono stati eseguiti dai solisti della New York Philharmonic, dagli ottoni del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, dal trio di ottoni della Israel Philharmonic, oltre che in numerosi festival in Spagna, Grecia, Germania, Giappone.
Le sue composizioni e gli arrangiamenti sono pubblicati dalla casa editrice “Accademia2008”.
Attualmente è docente di Musica d’Insieme per Fiati presso il Conservatorio di musica Giordano di Foggia.
